Private Cloud
IT Horizon uses the best of the breed of technologies to deploy private cloud to ensure that businesses are compliant and secure, making it easier to integrate an organization's existing software, services, and applications into a dedicated cloud hosting infrastructure which can be customized to the client's needs. A managed private cloud cuts down on upkeep costs by outsourcing infrastructure management and maintenance to the managed cloud provider.
Working with hardware vendors such as HPE, Dell, Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet and Infrastructure software providers like Microsoft, Citrix and VmWare we design secure and scalable cloud infrastructure for our clients. Our private cloud hosted on Top-tier Australian data centres and internet providers, can be constructed to a tailored Cloud solution to meet both your business needs and budget. Depending on your ICT system requirements this may vary from fully hosted solutions, to an extension of your current on-prem system.
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a cloud computing service where enterprises rent or lease servers for compute and storage in the cloud. Users can run any operating system or applications on the rented servers without the maintenance and operating costs of those servers. Other advantages of Infrastructure as a Service include giving customers access to servers in geographic locations close to their end users. IaaS automatically scales, both up and down, depending on demand and provides guaranteed service-level agreement (SLA) both in terms of uptime and performance. It eliminates the need to manually provision and manage physical servers in data centres.
- Platform as a Service(PaaS)
Platform as a service (PaaS) is a complete development and deployment environment in the cloud, with resources that enable you to deliver everything from simple cloud-based apps to sophisticated, cloud-enabled enterprise applications. You purchase the resources you need from IT Horizon on a pay-as-you-go basis and access them over a secure Internet connection. We can easily tie this into our DevOps, Solution Architecture services to help your team to design, develop and deploy applications in an agile way.
- Software as a Service (SaaS)
Further to IaaS and PaaS, SaaS offerings such as Microsoft365/Office365 or Google Apps can complement your current in-house ICT department or outsourced Managed Service, or form part of a broader ICT strategy. IT Horizon can plan and implement migrations from your current in-house messaging and collaboration platforms to Office 365 or Google Apps, taking the headache out of stepping into the Cloud.
- Cloud Transition Services
To fully take advantage of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services in the Cloud you need to have a solid understanding what you have and how to get it into the Cloud. Considerations such as the types of systems, workloads, accessibility, security, networking, redundancy and capacity need to be considered prior to selecting the right combination of Cloud solutions to be successful with any transition. IT Horizon's consultants can audit your current ICT environment and work with your business to ensure that any transition is undertaken with minimal interruption to the productivity of your workforce.
- Offsite Backup and Disaster Recovery
If your ICT systems are currently located onsite, your business is exposed to local risk events such as fire, flood, physical interference or hardware failure. By having your data replicated offsite your corporate information is safe from these potential disasters. By using leading edge technologies such as Veaam and StorageCraft's ShadowProtect, backup data is transferred securely to an offsite storage location at regular intervals and monitored by our Managed Services team to ensure that it is there when you need it.
To extend the business value of your investment a Cloud based Business Continuity Plan (BCP) can be developed that enables your workforce to continue to work remotely from any location in the event of a complete disaster. Using technologies such as Citrix XenApp and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, your workforce can continue to work from home or an alternate location should the unthinkable happen.
All of these solutions can be combined with IT Horizon's Managed Services offering to provide a complete end to end package, removing the burden of ICT management and disaster recovery from your business.
